CHOWCHILLA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting in Chowchilla that happened on Tuesday, police said.

On Nov. 5, police officers executed search warrants in the 500 block of Trinity Avenue and the 300 block of Rose Avenue.

As a result of the search warrants, police said two people were arrested in connection with a shooting from Nov. 4.

Police said that during their search, officers found a stolen firearm and gang-related drawings and attire.

This is an ongoing investigation.
