MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis Public School parents are preparing for a possible strike.
Mia Pettinger has two kids in the district. She works a full-time job along with her husband.
“None of us want to strike; however, I feel like the teachers are out here really fighting for our kids too, they’re fighting for smaller class sizes, they’re fighting for things that are really important to me as well as a parent,” Pettinger said.
Pettinger said it’s hard to make tentative plans and is still figuring out what to do.
“I don’t have a full plan, I have one mom who’s offered to like trade off, but right now I know that we’re trying to get a group of parents together to support as a large community to say how can we have resources shared across our school because we have some people with flexible
