2 On Your Side followed through on the involvement of members of the Bangladeshi community who have a strong presence on Buffalo's East Side.
During Republican mayoral candidate James Gardner's concession speech on Tuesday night, he noted the support of Bangladeshi Buffalo residents as he said "there are so many of them in our city and they are fantastic neighbors. They are fantastic people ... they care."
And there was mutual respect as well from Morshed Alam, who was one of those supporters of the GOP hopeful.
