COGAR, Okla. (KFOR) — An Oklahoma landmark and piece of movie history is missing!

The vintage APCO sign was taken from the historic service station in Cogar.

It's the same station that was featured in the 1988 movie, Rain Man, during the iconic road trip scene.

The Lehman family has owned and operated the service station since the 1950s.

"We all remember the times that we were here with our grandparents and a lot of family gatherings here," said Cheryl Lockstone, aunt owns the property.

Lockstone lived on the property as a little girl.

"Cogar is a very tight community. This was the only thing for miles that you could get gas. It was a full-service gas station, so we would pump your gas, check your tires, change your oil," said Lockstone.
