A Regina man made a third court appearance on Thursday afternoon in connection with the shooting death of a woman on a Saskatchewan highway in September.
Chris Fahlman, 42, was charged on Nov. 1 with one count of manslaughter and three other weapons charges, including careless use of a firearm, for the fatal shooting of Tanya Myers, 44, who was shot while riding as a passenger in a vehicle on Highway 39 near Weyburn on Sept. 12.
He appeared virtually in court Thursday, but has yet to enter a plea or have a bail hearing, after his defence lawyer said Thursday she needs more time to prepare.
In court, lawyer Sharon Fox said she received a "very brief disclosure" Thursday morning, which "created more questions than answers."
"We are not in a position to proceed at this time," she said.
