PORT ANGELES — A third ballot count in Clallam County shows most Election Night trends holding steady — but one of the county’s closest races has now flipped.
In the Port Angeles City Council Position 1 contest, incumbent LaTrisha Suggs has now taken a narrow lead over James Taylor, with 50.07 percent to 49.79 percent — a difference of just 10 votes.
Other city council races remain largely unchanged. Drew Schwab continues to lead Tyler Slater decisively for Position 2, with 70 percent of the vote.. For Position 4, Kate Dexter has defeated Mimi Smith Dvorak, 61 to 38 percent.
