Amidst the shutdown, a renewed push is underway to seat Arizona Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva, whose swearing-in has been delayed by House leaders until the government re-opens.

Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego voiced their frustration on the Senate floor, criticizing the prolonged shutdown and the refusal to seat Grijalva.
