Eddie Magherini notched his team-best 24th goal of the season and added an assist, as top-seeded Ranney defeated Holy Cross Prep, 3-0, in a South Jersey Non-Public B quarterfinal in Tinton Falls.
The top-seeded Panthers (12-6-1) will host Bishop Eustace in a sectional semifinal on Monday. Bishop Eustace, the 13th seed, has a pair of road wins in the playoffs.
Tylor Yang and Zac Levine also scored for Ranney. Jake Nagy made 12 saves and earned his fourth shutout of the season.
Holy Cross Prep fell to 5-13-2.
