SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- The city of South Bend held an open house today at Greater Friendship Missionary Church for the LaSalle Park neighborhood plan, an ongoing project since 2023.

The plan includes improvements to transportation, infrastructure, housing, and public spaces.

Once approved by the Common Council, the plan will become city ordinance and be set in place for the next 20 years.

The open house ran until 6:30 P.M. and another is scheduled for Nov. 8 from 9 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the Charles Black Community Center, giving the public a chance to give input and feedback on the neighborhood project.
