Red Sox prospects Luis Perales and Stanley Tucker were named Fall Stars. They will participate in the Arizona Fall League’s Fall Stars Game at 8 p.m. eastern Sunday.
Tucker, a 2023 19th-round draft pick out of Texas A&M, has gone 19-for-66 (.288) with a .397 on-base percentage, .333 slugging percentage, three doubles, 14 RBIs, 10 runs, 12 walks and 19 strikeouts in 20 games for the Salt River Rafters. The 23-year-old outfielder also has been successful on 12-of-14 steal attempts.
The 22-year-old Perales, who Baseball America ranks Boston’s No. 8 prospect, has struggled for Salt River but the most important thing is him getting game reps after he missed almost 15 months following Tommy John surgery that he underwent June 27, 2024.
