Jammu, Nov 06: The Government College of Education (GCOE) today organised a Group Discussion led by M.Ed. students aimed at promoting awareness and inspiring quitting tobacco and other forms of substance abuse. The initiative is part of GCOE’s ongoing commitment to foster a healthy, responsible and drug-free campus environment.

According to a statement issued here, during the discussion, M.Ed. students shared research insights, personal reflections and motivational strategies to help their peers overcome addiction and make positive lifestyle choices.

Participants engaged in an open and empathetic dialogue about the psychological, social and health impacts of substance use, emphasising the importance of early intervention and peer encouragement.
