Tim Tebow and Aaron Hernandez were teammates at the University of Florida back in the day. Their careers and lives would go vastly different directions.

While Hernandez was easily the better professional player, he had some dark demons inside him.

Tebow hasn’t spoken out much about Hernandez since his issues, but he certainly had something to say about his former teammate during a recent interview.

As the New England Patriots’ third-string quarterback in 2013, Tebow said, “It’s just heartbreaking and sad,” in response to Aaron Hernandez being arrested and charged for the murder of Odin Lloyd, something he would be convicted of later on.
