The Mercedes-Benz EQE will not see out a full model cycle, with an all-new electric sedan wearing E-Class badges due to replace it in 2027.
The electric sedan replacement for the short-lived Mercedes-Benz EQE has been spied during testing.
Expected to launch in 2027, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class electric – likely to wear the formal title of E-Class with EQ Technology – wlll be a larger sibling to the recently-revealed GLC EV and incoming C-Class EV.
It will be a direct successor to the EQE sedan, which launched globally in 2022 but will soon reach the end of the line, according to recent reports.
The sedan’s high-riding sibling, the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, will also be prematurely discontinued, while the larger EQS and EQS SUV are expected to live out a full model cycle.
