COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - In eight short games, Texas A&M freshman running back Jamarion Morrow has already solidified his spot within “the stable,” the self-selected nickname for A&M’s deep running back room.

With feature back Le’Veon Moss out for a significant amount of time, Morrow has elevated himself as a go-to secondary option behind Rueben Owens, a rapid introduction that he credits to running backs coach Trooper Taylor.

However, if it weren’t for that relationship with the position coach, Morrow might have been on the other side of Saturday’s Southeastern Conference matchup at No. 19 Missouri.

Morrow committed to the Tigers in June of 2024 and remained with the Tigers until decomitting on Dec. 3. The same day, he gave his verbal pledge to the Aggies and signed the next day
