Week 10 kicked off on the SouthCoast with a Thursday night win from Wareham in non-playoff action.

Friday features seven more games, including playoff ones for Dartmouth, Fairhaven and Old Rochester.

Wareham 12, Sandwich 6

JJ Lawson scored a pair of rushing touchdowns on runs of 2 and 60 yards to power the Vikings to their sixth win of the season.

“JJ stepped up big leading the offense today,” said Wareham head coach Cy Bariteau, noting that the Vikings were without starting quarterback Amare Rose, who is injured.

Lawson leads the Vikings this season with 9 touchdowns.

The win was the third straight for Wareham (6-3).
