AUBURN — That was much more like it.
After struggling for an overtime win against Bethune-Cookman in its season-opener, Auburn basketball looked much more like a top-25 team against Merrimack on Thursday, Nov. 6. The 22nd-ranked Tigers downed the Warriors 95-57, continuing an undefeated start in blowout fashion.
The Tigers shut down a lesser opponent, capitalizing on a sizable halftime lead with a 56-point second half. Keyshawn Hall led the way once against, tallying 25 points and 14 rebounds, but four other Tigers joined him in double figures, with Sebastian Williams-Adams (14 points), Tahaad Pettiford (13), Emeka Opurum (11) and Abdul Bashir (10) getting in on the offensive flurry.
Here are five takeaways from Auburn 's second win of the season.
