Rashid Shaheed might have been one of the happiest players to learn he was on the move at the NFL trade deadline Tuesday.

The wide receiver was dealt from the one-win New Orleans Saints, who are in contention for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 draft, to a Seattle Seahawks team that has won three games in a row and is tied for first place in the competitive NFC West.

Shaheed is expected to make his debut with the Seahawks (6-2) debut Sunday when they play host to the Arizona Cardinals (3-5).

"Just excited about the journey, excited to be here and excited to be a part of this organization," Shaheed said. "So far, it's been nothing but welcoming and just feeling good right now."
