A Donald Trump Oval Office announcement has become a medical emergency, as a representative went down and TV doctor Mehmet Oz leapt in to assist.
The US President was announcing an agreement with Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk that would see citizens access weight loss drugs, many which are used to treat diabetes as well, at a reduced cost.
With the new deal, US citizens can access drugs like Wegovy and Zepbound from $US250 per month.
During the live-streamed address, the announcement had to be halted as a representative from one of the businesses “went down”.
The man, standing meters from Mr Trump in the Oval Office, appeared to pass out, before falling to the ground.
Dr Oz, who leads the Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the Trump Administration, was standing nearby, and
