SOMERSET (WTAJ) -- Somerset football coach Jeff Urban steps down from the Golden Eagles after four seasons at the helm of the football program. That is according to our partners at the Tribune Democrat.

Urban has spent 30 seasons with the program in some capacity as a coach or player.

He was named head coach in 2022. His teams have gone 10-32 in his four seasons.

In a statement from Somerset High School, athletic director Scott Clos thanked Urban for his dedication to the program.

"Somerset is thankful for all of the years and effort that Jeff has given the student-athletes," he said. "He brought a level of commitment and integrity that I personally appreciated. His passion for this program could never be questioned.”
