PANAJI: Authorities in Goa have promised stricter action and heightened patrolling after recent incidents of harassment involving tourists at popular beaches. A video from Arambol beach showed a group of men forcing two foreign women to pose for photographs. The men were seen putting their arms around the women, who appeared visibly uncomfortable and reluctant. In another case reported from Vagator, bouncers at a local establishment allegedly intervened inappropriately, causing distress to a visiting family from Varanasi.
