LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Transportation leaders are focused on a busy stretch of Lexington’s New Circle Road. It’s an effort to improve safety in the area. Thursday night, people had a chance to weigh in on proposed changes.
“I came out to just kind of hear about the kind of plans the engineers have for the traffic but also just advocate for my restaurant,” said one attendee.
Change is on the horizon for New Circle Road drivers. People like Allie Damron came to Thursday’s open house to find out more information and weigh in on the proposed changes.
“I’m a manager for one of the local restaurants in the area. This project will highly impact our traffic in front of our restaurant,” said Damron, who runs a restaurant nearby.
