Sheriff: Man charged after allegedly stabbing his father to death in Dillonvale

A man will be charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his father to death at a home in Dillonvale Thursday night.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, it happened in the 8300 block of Wicklow Avenue, just after 7 p.m. Advertisement

Detectives with the sheriff’s office arrived at the house and a 69-year-old man who had been stabbed was found inside.

The sheriff’s office said the victim’s 33-year-old son admitted to stabbing his father, which caused his death.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide and the suspect will be charged with murder and tampering with evidence.

The names of the people involved in the stabbing have not been released by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
