In a shocking development that highlights the connection between obsession and technology, Rene Joshilda, a software professional, has been officially accused of masterminding a series of bomb-hoax emails that were sent to educational institutions in several Indian states, including Bengaluru.

The event began on June 14 when a Bengaluru school filed a bomb threat allegation. The city’s cybercrime unit ultimately traced the trail to Joshilda, who was already imprisoned in Ahmedabad Central Jail at the time of her arrest in Bengaluru on October 28.
