The Washington Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), in partnership with the Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee, announced the recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Service to Veterans Awards on Thursday.

The Blue Mountain Action Council Supportive Services for Veteran Families and Opportunities Industrialization Centers of Washington have been recognized with the Team Award.

The WDVA highlighted the team's extraordinary collaboration and innovation in serving veterans and their families.

Covering a large, rural 17-county service area across southeast Washington and northeast Oregon, the team consistently demonstrates an unwavering commitment to ensuring that no veteran is left without support, stability and dignity, WDVA officials stated.
