Zarine Khan, Sanjay Khan’s wife, Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan's mother, died at her Mumbai home on Thursday. She was 81 and had been unwell for some time due to age-related issues.

Zarine is survived by her husband, veteran actor and filmmaker Sanjay Khan, and their children – Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and actor Zayed Khan.

Zarine had briefly worked in films such as 'Tere Ghar Ke Saamne' and 'Ek Phool Do Mali' before marrying Sanjay Khan in 1966. The two reportedly met at a bus stop and soon fell in love.
