The Las Vegas Raiders just got handed a narrow 10-7 loss by the Denver Broncos in Week 10. But the loss came with far bigger concerns than the scoreboard for the Raiders Nation. Head coach Pete Carroll delivered troubling news related to multiple injuries after the game. Geno Smith took a hit in the second half, suffering a thigh bruise, though Pete Carroll said the quarterback is expected to play through it. Unfortunately, the injury woes didn’t stop there.
According to Carroll, starting right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson will be sidelined “for a while” following an ankle injury. Jackson Powers-Johnson went down early in the second quarter after rolling his ankle during a sack on quarterback Geno Smith by Denver’s edge rusher Nik Bonitto. Trainers helped Powers-Johnson off the field
