A lawsuit has been filed against a former Chandler Unified School District employee that mirrors patterns of his involvement in a similar case in Queen Creek.

Lawyers, acting on behalf of a former student in the Agua Fria High School District, filed the lawsuit on Sept. 16, naming Ryan Ridenour as one of the defendants.

Ridenour was an assistant principal at Casteel High School and was the first district official to consider complaints made by multiple middle school students alleging their drama teacher was touching them inappropriately.

In the Agua Fria case, the student alleges that Kyle DeBerry, a teacher and wrestling coach, engaged in inappropriate, illicit, sexual acts with minor students at Desert Edge High School in 2012.
