PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A grand jury has indicted a Phoenix police officer on aggravated assault and endangerment charges stemming from a crash that injured the cop and two others in March.
According to a police report obtained by Arizona’s Family Investigates , Ofc. Joshua Allen Woodcock was driving at speeds exceeding 50 mph over the speed limit just before 1 a.m. on March 14.
Arizona’s Family reported on the crash on that morning, which happened near Buckeye Road and the I-17 Black Canyon Access Road in south-central Phoenix. The report stated the posted limit was 35 mph, but Woodcock’s estimated speed was between 86 and 89 mph.
