GLENDALE, Calif. – The Colorado River Board of California (CRB) announced Thursday that California’s 2025 use of Colorado River water is projected to hit the lowest level since 1949, marking a historic milestone for the state and the Basin. The achievement reflects decades of investment, innovation, and collaboration by California’s water agencies, farmers, cities, and tribes to use less water while doing more.
