Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport were disrupted on Friday after a technical fault hit the Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS), which supports Air Traffic Control (ATC) data, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) said.

AAI said technical teams were working to restore the system, while controllers were processing flight plans manually, leading to delays.

In a post on X, the airport said its teams were working with all stakeholders, including Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), to resolve the issue.
