Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, a Trinamool Congress MP from Serampore, has been the victim of cyber fraud. It is reported that Rs 55 lakh was stolen from his SBI bank account. According to sources, bank officials have filed a complaint with the cybercrime department in this matter.

The close aide of Mamata Banerjee, Kalyan served as the MLA for Asansol South from 2001-2006.
