New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a five-day State visit to Angola and Botswana tomorrow, a release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan said today.

This will be the first ever State visit by an Indian Head of State to Angola and Botswana.

On the first leg of her visit, President Murmu will visit Angola from November 8-11 at the invitation of Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço.

India and Angola are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

President Murmu will hold bilateral talks with her Angolan counterpart on November 9. She will also attend the 50th anniversary celebrations of Angola’s independence on November 11.
