AMC conducts demolition drive in Satellite to remove illegal encroachments November 07, 2025

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today launched a major encroachment removal drive in the Satellite area of the city. The operation to clear illegal constructions was carried out on the 18-meter and 9-meter-wide TP roads running parallel to SPIPA, from BRTS Road, Sundarvan towards Mansi Circle, where a settlement known as Ranujanagar had come up.

The road falls under Ward No. 20 (Jodhpur) and is part of Town Planning (TP) Scheme No. 6 (Vejalpur). Earlier, AMC had served notices to the affected residents to vacate the TP road for road-opening work.
