MORGANTOWN -- West Virginia's offensive line has been one of the Mountaineers' most battle-tested groups this season.
Six WVU offensive linemen entered this season having played in at least 20 college games, with three of those playing in more than 30.
But early in Big 12 Conference play, the Mountaineers' line struggled to protect passers and spring rushers, leading to position shuffling.
In WVU's first four Big 12 games, the Mountaineers allowed 11 sacks, including eight to UCF in the Knights' 45-13 victory.
West Virginia ranks near the bottom nationally in sacks allowed this season, having given up 21.
However, a lingering buzz is building within the offensive line, which has caught the eye of WVU coach Rich Rodriguez.
