NILES — A Warren man accused of stabbing another man during an argument near a bus stop remained jailed Thursday on $1 million bond after his arraignment on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault.
Kenyon Kellum, 52, of Southern Boulevard in Warren, pleaded not guilty during a hearing in Niles Municipal Court before Judge Christopher Shaker.
Kellum was designated a repeated violent offender due to a complicity to felonious assault from 1992. He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing in Niles Municipal Court next week.
He was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a stabbing at Gentry Plaza near the intersection of U.S. Route 422 and state Route 46 in Niles.
