At least 54 people were injured in mosque blast in Indonesia’s Jakarta on Friday. The explosion took place inside a school complex during Friday prayers, According to news agency, Reuters. The injured were admitted to hospital.
In a televised police conference, police chief Asep Edi Suheri said the police officials were ascertaining the cause of the incident at the site in North Jakarta’s Kelapa Gading.
Media reports suggested that firearms, police vest and bomb materials were found from the site which hinted at possible terror activity during initial probe.
“The total number of injured victims from this explosion reached 54 people. The victims consisted of minor and moderate injuries, and some of them have already been allowed to go home after receiving medical treatment,” Metro TV quo
