Bhubaneswar: Minimum (night) temperatures across Odisha are expected to fall by 3–4°C over the next three to four days, the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said in its midday bulletin on Friday. However, dry weather conditions are likely to prevail across all districts for the next seven days, with no warnings issued.
According to the IMD, northwesterly to northerly winds are currently prevailing over the state. Moderate fog was observed at isolated places in Sundergarh, while shallow fog occurred in parts of Kalahandi. No rainfall was recorded in any district.
Minimum temperatures remained appreciably above normal by 3–4°C at a few places in interior Odisha and normal elsewhere. The day’s highest maximum temperature was 34.0°C at Paralakhemu
