A former youth club in Knowle West could soon be demolished, despite earlier pledges to return it to the community. Eagle House on Newquay Road, currently leased to an evangelical church by Bristol City Council , is set to see that tenancy end in May next year.
During last year’s local elections, Green Party candidates promised to reopen the building as a youth centre. The site holds deep local significance, standing near where teenagers Max Dixon and Mason Rist were tragically killed in a stabbing last year.
