FAIRMONT — West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced a series of initiatives designed to transform health care in the state as part of a federal program at Fairmont State University on Thursday.

“We’ve been working tirelessly for a vision to help get people better,” Morrisey said. “I was talking about getting better people better, physically, getting better people better mentally. It’s because there’s a simple concept that we’re trying to advance. We believe that when health care outcomes improve, more people go to work.”
