A suspicious package containing white powder arrived at Joint Base Andrews on Thursday, sending several people to the hospital and triggering a full HAZMAT response at the Maryland base where Air Force One operates, reports CNN.

The package was opened inside the Air National Guard Readiness Center, the same building that coordinates Guard units across all 50 states and territories. Within minutes, multiple people fell ill and were rushed to the on-base Malcolm Grove Medical Center. The extent of the illnesses reported hasn't been disclosed yet.
