Due to their rising success, most automakers have phased out sedans from their lineups in the United States. While SUVs cost more than your typical sedan on average, there are still affordable options out there. There are plenty of SUVs and crossovers for sale that have a starting price below $26,000. While most of the affordable vehicles in this category are smaller crossovers, they are still considered sport utility vehicles.
