ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A funeral is being held for Staff Sergeant John A. Pagliuso, who was killed during World War 2 and was unidentified for decades.
Staff Sgt. Pagliuso's remains were flown in on Friday, and a procession was held from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home in Lyons.
His funeral will be graveside at Old Elmwood Cemetery on Phelps Street. His family and members of the New York National Guard Honor Guard will be in attendance. His niece will be receiving the colors.
Before the funeral, there will be a procession from the funeral home to the cemetery. The route is as follows:
