NEW MEXICO (KRQE) - Mostly clear skies have remained with dry air continuing and mostly calm winds leading to seasonably chilly temperatures, but some winds going down the east slopes of the Central Mountains have created a milder-than-normal effect for a few areas out east.
Below-freezing temperatures are confined to some areas in the northwestern corner of the region, while everywhere else from even the northern parts of Rio Grande Valley to the south and east is mostly ranging from the 30s to the low 50s.
Despite a slight drop in temperatures, sunshine today will accompany above-normal temperatures once again. Areas to the north will range from the upper 50s to the low 70s, while 60s and low 80s will develop from the Rio Grande Valley to southern areas.
