GREER, S.C. (WSPA) -- Brushy Creek Post Acute Care in Greer hosted its first-ever beauty pageant for women aged 65 and older on Thursday.
The event brought together contestants from 15 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in the region, celebrating the strength and resilience of women recovering from health issues.
The pageant featured traditional elements such as evening wear, a talent show and a unique twist on the swimsuit segment, where participants designed swimsuits on poster boards.
Annette Hendricks took third place, Kimberly Matthews came in second, and Barbara Cook won the crown, delighting the audience with her performance.
