RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A water main has broken in the middle of a road early Friday morning in northeast Raleigh.
According to the City of Raleigh, the water main break occurred just before 7 a.m. on Ward Road and Glenridge Drive.
A spokesperson with the city told CBS 17 that 15 customers are impacted by the water main break in the area.
CBS 17 was at the scene where the Raleigh Police Department temporarily had Ward Road and Glenridge Drive blocked off to traffic. An excavator was at the scene to help repair the line.
"Raleigh Water notified the customers directly and will keep them updated," the official said.
There is currently no timeline for when this will be repaired.
