PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A sunny and pleasant day is ahead in the Valley with morning temperatures in the 50s and 60s warming to the mid 80s today. A forecast high of 86 degrees is six degrees above normal for this time of year in Phoenix. Evening temperatures will be mild as it cools back to the 70s once the sun goes down.
As high pressure builds over our region this weekend, afternoon temperatures will climb. Look for another high of 86 on Saturday, but Sunday will likely be a record-breaker with a forecast high of 90 degrees. Dry conditions are expected all weekend with abundant sunshine.
Next week will start off warm in the upper 80s, but Veterans Day will be a bit more mild on Tuesday with a high of 86 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
High pressure will gradually weaken next week, k
