New Delhi: Earlier this year, a horrific accident happened when 260 people died in an Air India plane crash in June. Now, after a few months, the Supreme Court of India urged the pilot-in-command, Sumeet Sabharwal’s father, not to carry the burden of the accident on him.
SC declared that no one can blame Sumeet Sabharwal for the Air India Boeing Dreamliner crash on Friday, November 7. The bench of justices Surya Kant and Joymalya Bagchi stated that “You should not carry a burden on yourself. The pilot is not to be blamed for the plane crash. It was an accident. There is no insinuation against him even in the preliminary report.”
SC also issued a notice to the centre and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), following the plea submitted by the father of Summet Sabha
