During Monday’s regular meeting of the Hancock County Board of Education, Superintendent Dan Enich showcased the new award for the “Route 2 Rivalry,” an attendance competition to take place annually between Weir High and Brooke High during the week the two schools’ football teams face off. This year, Weir High got the award, with 94.7% of its student body attending school on the designated days, compared to 94.5% of Brooke’s.
