The Peninsula Chinese American Association recently participated in the Newport News 2025 World Arts Celebration Festival held at Christopher Newport University on Oct. 25.

Members of the Peninsula Chinese American community presented traditional Chinese folk dances and Tai Chi demonstrations.

In addition, the Association hosted a cultural exhibition booth on Ferguson Lawn, where visitors could view displays highlighting Chinese heritage and participate in making traditional Chinese good luck lanterns to take home, the organization said..
