Now that the NFL trade deadline has come and gone with Brandon Beane unable to add a wide receiver to the mix, the Buffalo Bills are going to have to pursue the championship Beane and Sean McDermott are confident they can win with their current crop of wide receivers.
“That’s a hot button, I know,” Beane said earlier in the week when he was asked about the group as a whole, before expounding on one in particular. “The microscope is on Keon (Coleman), I get it. He’s drafted high second round, and so, you’re naturally gonna put a lot of pressure on him. I would say, there’s been some good things and there’s things he can continue to do better. I think he has taken another step this year.”
Of course, there wasn’t much of a step to take because Coleman’s rookie season was underwhelming,
